家乡的赤泥岗

家乡地处偏僻的赤泥岭，田地少得可怜。过去山岗上乱石重叠，荆棘丛生，水沟里的吸血蚂蝗又软又滑，叫人望而生畏，因此“泥地佬”成了家乡人贫穷屈辱的代名词。然而，这里的山山水水是我童年的乐园：山岗上有野石榴、野葡萄、“饭团籽”、“老鼠齿”、山稔子……还有很多说不出名的野果，甜酸苦辣，取之不尽，更有趣的是找鹧鸪蛋、烧蜂窝。吃蜂蛹就得讲究方法了，还得有点勇敢的精神。而山脚下水沟里的田蟹、田螺、鱼虾便是我们的家常便菜。

       一年冬天，推土机在赤泥岭上“哒哒”地响了个把月，当我跑到那里一看，伤心极了——山岗上的乱石被推平了，我的“百果园”被摧毁了，鹧鸪也被吓跑了。天啊，父亲竟也在那群人里头。

几年后，原本石头比泥土还要多的赤泥岭竟然变成一汪蔗海，郁郁葱葱。凉风吹来，绿浪翻涌，象向辛勤劳动的人们点头致意。还有一大片的果林，果实累累，果香沁人。昔日那些令人讨厌的乱石被切成石砖，砸为碎石，黑黝黝的，*地流向四面八方，滚滚的财源不断流进千家万户，“赤泥岭”变成了“聚宝盘”。

     过去的崎岖小路变成了宽敞的大道，低矮的茅房被崭新的楼宇代替，世代没有的教学大楼拔地而起……家乡是镶嵌在这块土地上一颗璀璨的明珠。我也再不当初那些把赤泥岭弄得翻天覆地的垦荒者，看到他们油然而生敬意。

如今，“泥地佬”听起来不再刺耳，我为做一个“泥地佬”而骄傲。我的梦魂常牵绕着家乡那一片赤泥岭……
